Kohl's was having a great sale last weekend and I ended up snagging this dress for $17.99, regularly $40.00. This day I wore it to work so I paired with a cardigan from New York and Company.

Seriously couldn't believe it. The same day Chris and I went on the hunt for Fish Taco's in downtown Columbus we stopped at a few thift stores on our way home. It was 4th of July and everything in the store was 50% off the marked price. All ladies shirts were marked $3.49 with 50% off. So that left my total $1.74.

I wish I could have found more clothes I liked at that price.

I love that spring is starting to show its face around here. I bought this Vestal Fairamay Watch for all of my bridesmaids three years ago when we got married. At the time, I couldn't resist buying one for myself too. I'm so glad I did. This is one of my favorite watches to wear in the summer time.

Sephora is having a sale on some of their OPI Nail Polishes. I bought Water Baby for $5, original price was $9. I wore this color with this outfit and got two compliments.

We went out to dinner with our friends on Sunday evening. I needed a good Sunday outfit. This one was perfect.

I love how thin this outfit makes me look. Because of the way the sweater falls it makes your hips looks so much smaller. I paired it wil some black high heeled boots and my Grey Coach bag.

It's been snowing here in Ohio for 7 days now and we've had negative temperatures. This means I needed some new sweaters. Christopher and I headed to Old Navy for their 75% off sale. I got this sweater and boots for $60. Ofcourse, everything I liked wasn't on sale.

with my new foundation and foundation primer. For Christmas, I got a gift certificate to Sephora and bought Lorac's Natural Foundation. Then, with my Beauty Insider Points I got the Laura Mercier foundation primer for free. I've never used a foundation primer before but I'm love it. It makes my skin look so smooth.

New Years Eve Hair and Makeup

I recently found a makeup blog by TiffanyD. I thought this would be great to do something different for New Years Eve with my makeup BUT what I didn't know was how easy Tiffany's tutorials are.

On NYE, I tried Tiffany's Reverse Eyeliner Technique (Rihanna inspired) and had no problem following Tiffany's directions. She does a video for each technique that she teaches.

I didn't use any of the recommended colors but had similar colors in my makeup bag. I did buy some black eyeliner since I didn't have any.

Tiffany thank you so much for all that you do for us Makeup Challenged people!

For my hair, I rollered all of my hair and just pinned it up in the back.

New Years Dress

Remember my post about my New Years dress? I had to order the dress off Walmart.com because none of our local Walmart's had it in stock. I measured myself and matched it up to the size chart online but for some reason when I got the dress it was way to big. So instead of returning it and ordering another size (who knows if it would have fit). I ended up buying this FABULOUS dress in Black:

It was one of those days at the mall, when everything I tried on looked great. Have you every had one of those? So, I had to buy it and at that price I should have bought another color.

My New Best Friend

I'm not sure I shared this with you guys yet but for the last year and a half I had a job that required me to travel almost every week. In April this year, I accepted a new position that only requires travel once a year. So, after the last year and half I acquired 162,000 Hilton Honors points. This totalled about $300 in gift cards. I decided to get my gift cards to Macy's since I knew they had Coach. Remember my post about my love of purses?

I stalked Coach.com and Coach at Macy's for a few weeks trying to decided which purse I wanted. I think I tried them on about 50 purses over the last couple weeks. This was a big decision.

I finally figured out which one I was in love with:

The storage in this purse was what sold me. It has 4 cell phone holders (2 regular cell phone holders and 2 blackberry holders) plus 2 zipper pockets.

My total out of pocket for this purse was $58 and lots of blood, sweat and tears. Isn't she great?
