{Months TTC versus Age}

Fertility Friend has a great little section of their site where they analyze the data that is entered by their members. The most recent analyzation they did was Months TTC vs Age. I immediately clicked on the study. So many sites have tried to do this study but I knew Fertility Friend has access to real live data.

It appears for a women 25-30, the average time to get pregnant is about 8 months.

What did you think about the study?

My only question would be is how are they filtering out cycles where someone is charting to avoid? I used FF for almost a year for that purpose.

Ahhh yes if it only took 8 months, we'd have a 5 month old right now.

Danielle, when you submit your charts to FF chart gallery I think it's asks you how many months TTC. I'm assuming that is how they know but I wonder if all charts were taken into effect (meaning people who have been diagnosed with IF) or not??? All very good questions!

I thought the results were interesting, but it's an average. We all know plenty of people who get it on their first try (lucky bastards), so it doesn't surprise me the average is 8 months.
