Wow, it feels great to be back! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years. I know we did!
Recently I've started to think that this little blog has become too depressing.This is why I took a little break to figure out my thoughts and path in 2011 for this blog. I've started using this blog as place to vent and not a place that creates open conversation about Infertility.That started to bug me.
Recently I've started to think that this little blog has become too depressing.This is why I took a little break to figure out my thoughts and path in 2011 for this blog. I've started using this blog as place to vent and not a place that creates open conversation about Infertility.That started to bug me.
So in 2011, we're going to change the format a little. I will still be talking about our journey to parenthood, we will still be doing lots of DIY projects but what you will not see is anymore of this and this. Yes, Infertility SUCKS but there is more to Christopher and I then our inability to conceive a child on our own. This is why I love doing the Spotlight on Infertility to show you there are other couple out there who are living life dealing with Infertility. I think what we are missing with these spotlights though, is updates. I think we need to hear more about the positive outcomes of these couples, don't you?
I want to also start posting more about how we are cutting back to save money for IVF. Christopher and I watched Extreme Couponing the other day and were totally inspired. We have recently started cutting coupons but would like to be more serious about find deals each week to save more money. I love how Michelle at Cheap and Creative lists her savings every month and I will probably be doing something similar along with posting about great deals we have found.

OMG...I also watched the extreme coupon show and actually clipped coupons for the first time in my life afterwards! Too funny...

i love your tutorials about how to make things for the home, that are otherwise very expensive. like the moss-y/globe-y things you made for so much cheaper than their cost at Pier 1. you have really great decorating instincts, and i would love to see more of that whenever you have the time. :)
