Myth: Marriages rarely survive infertility struggles

Infertility Myth: Marriages rarely survive infertility struggles

Fertility Fact: The majority of couples manage infertility challenges effectively. In the process, they can learn new ways of relating to each other, improve their understanding of different coping styles, and deepen their communication, which actually serves to improve their relationship.

We are one of those couples. Yes, this has been the hardest thing we have encountered in our marriage but it has created a bond between Chris and I that we will never forget. We have learned how to be strong for the other person, when we are struggling to stand on our own two feet. Knowing that makes us have even more respect and love for each other. We are lucky to be going through this with the strongest person we know (each other) right by our sides.

Wonderful post! I'm so glad your marriage has grown through the infertility nightmare. It does cause problems for some but, like you, we think it brought us closer. God bless you and your husband for your commitment!
