Frustrated.

Is the only word I can use to describe how I've been feeling about losing weight.

On March 8, I started doing the Biggest Loser Bootcamp with Bob. I'm doing this for 30 minutes, 3 times a week. My calorie intake has been about 1600 calories per day with lots of protein.

My total weight loss = 0. Really, body?!? This is not funny.

We are at the start of week 4 (March 23) and I have decided to change things up. I will be doing Biggest Loser Bootcamp with Bob three times a week but I will also add in two days of running for 30 minutes. Also, I will be decreasing my calorie count to 1500 instead of 1600 per day. By doing this I'm eliminating my after dinner snack. Please let this be change I need to start shedding the pounds.

What are/have you done to help you lose weight? Tell me your favorite workout!

Hang in there! When I was working out with a trainer before my wedding, she told me that it truly takes 3 months for you to change your body. And, muscle weighs more than fat, I'm sure you've made lots of muscles :) It will get better!

I feel for you. I've been trying to lose some weight too, and it's very frustrating when nothing happens! For exercise, my metabolism usually kicks into high gear once I start running daily. Maybe adding the running on top of your boot camp workouts will do the trick. Also, maybe try eating several smaller meals throughout the day instead of three bigger ones? That has helped me in the past.

My problem is eating. I need to accept the fact that I'm getting older and am no longer breastfeeding, and just eat less!

I think the running will really help. I do some personal training and I always recommend 5-6 days a week of exercise for weight loss, 3 days for maintenance (if there is no change in diet) . I also swear by interval training. Don't cut your calories until you have added the extra exercise and see how that goes, you don't want to put your metab. into starvation mode.

Here's a post of mine about how I lost 40lbs in 3 months (results not typical ;)

I definitely know how frustrating it can be! I lost 45lb on WW and loved it. Actually, I can't wait to get back on WW once the baby is born.

I think the added activity, and going down 100 cals will really make a difference.

Just keep up with the activity and the results will follow!

It's lose, not loose.

don't let the scale be your only guide. Look at how your clothes are fitting and other things too, the scale can be so deceiving. My weight fluctuates up to 5 pounds depending on where I am in my cycle and the day itself.

Thanks for all the support ladies!

I have been trying to space my eating out to every two hours (8am, 10 am, 12 pm, etc.) so that I don't actually get too hungry. I actually lost one pound this am, just from the last two days of activity. That is going to push me through today's workout.

Everyone has already expressed what I was thinking... Hang in there it can take a little time before you see a difference, but your body is doing work behind the scenes :)
