Vote or Die!

On Sunday we carved pumpkins and Chirstopher and I both think our own pumpkin is the best. So we're going to let you vote. Which do you like better? Pumpkin 1 or Pumpkin 2:

1.

2.

We bought the Pumpkin Master Kit to carve our pumpkins.

Nestie Fall Exchange

As most of you know, and may also be part of, I am a very active chatter on thenest.com at the Decorating and Renovating board. This fall the nesties decided to do a candle exchange.

The nestie that drew my name was: ShylaBeth and she sent me 5 votive candles (2 smell like Pumpkin Spice) and three votive holders. I still haven't decided where they will go.

Thank You, Shyla! I love them

This weekend I have a bachlorette party to attend for my wonderful cousin, Callie. Callie and her fiance, Dave, are getting married October 16 and I'm a bridesmaid. I'm really looking forward to spending some time at the bachlorette party with her. What are you doing this weekend?

My $50 Winnings

Since, we lived in an apartment for so long, I refused to buy seasonal decor (minus Christmas) because we didn't have the place to store it all. I decided I still wanted some more seasonal decor for the house. So I bought these carvable pumpkins from Micheal's at $5.99 a piece along with these fake bales of hay for $6.99 each. I got some flickering lights to go inside.

As soon as the real pumpkins come out, I'm going to get some real pumpkins to sit on the stairs and some corn staulks for the corner of the porch. I can't wait. So my total for today was $60.

Check out where I got the idea from The DIY Showoff. I took Roeshel's idea and transformed it a little. Great Idea Roeshel!

What do you think?
