Success!

So after major failure last week attempting to sew some bibs and burp clothes. I finally had success.

Here are the fabric quarters. terry cloth, velcro, thread and stencil I used to make the bibs and burb clothes.

I cut out from the stencil the cloth & terry cloth. Then pinned them together with the fabric turned inside out.

I sewed them almost together, then flipped the bib/burb cloth right side out and finish stiching.

I'm still working on my sewing technique but didn't they turn out adorable?

The DIY Showoff featured a tutorial on how to make these also.

Beautiful! Did you sew these by hand? I need you to give me some lessons!

Thank you! No I used my friends sewing machine. It made it way easier.

Yes they are adorable. I am a little frustrated today myself.. Have made three attempts at sewing aprons. Each one gets better.....still needs more perfecting though.

Ooooh! Pretty! I love the polka dot fabric! It takes a little getting used to (I just found iron-on velcro last week...so helpful). It'll get easier - it looks great in the pictures!
