{Vacation, here we come}

In one of my last posts, I talked about how we are not going to continue with fertility treatment this year. We decided for the sake of our sanity and marriage a vacation was in order. Yaayyyy!!

We are headed to Oceanside, California. Southwest had a great deal so both of our tickets round trip were $500. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to head back to California. Recently we started tossing up the idea of a beach house while we are there. So after looking at vrbo.com for hours on end..we found what is going to be our home for 6 nights: 914 Mara Mar Place.

We are so excited and are counting down the days. There are so many things we have planned for our trip. We will be headed to Beverly Hills to get some Sprinkles Cupcakes

While we are in Beverly Hills we are going to Lush also (Duh!)

I also promise that there will be lots of fish tacos and strawberry blonde beer from the Belmont Brewing Company

But the most important thing that we will be doing is relaxing!

We had a great time in the Outer Banks and have already decided we will be going back in a few years. It was a great chill vacation.

With vacation fast approaching, I have been searching for outfits that will compliment our relaxed trip. I'm loving Old Navy's selection this year! I've put together some items I've been looking at and can't wait to order.

Vacation

We did it! We booked a vacation. Last year, Christopher and I agreed to not go on vacation since so much needed to be done to the house after we purchased it.

We couldn't wait until this year for some much needed R&R. After checking out may differant places we still wanted to visit. We landed on Cape Hatteras, NC. We used surforsound.com to book our vacation.

After looking at many different houses we decided on this awesome beach house. It's a 5 bedroom, 4 full and 2 1/2 bath house. There is a private pool, wet bar, game room, hot tub and lots more. The thing we liked most about this house is you can see views of the ocean and the sound.

(This is where I'm going to be spending my whole week with my husband and my friend, Corona with Lime.)

We are so excited and are counting down the days till Summer.

Staycation

Do you remember me talking about our Staycation? I finally got our pictures together and am ready to share......

The first stop was Great Lakes Brewery for Beer School on Wednesday night. It was really cool learning about the process of making beer BUT it was way beer to taste the sweet rewards of it.

On Thursday we headed to downtown Cleveland

to go to Little Italy, where we found all kinds of really cool vintage shops (notice the name of this one)

and great places to eat (this the blackberry/cream cheese pastry I ate)

On Friday we came back home to relax for the evening and prepare for the first OSU game. The Buckeye's played Navy and we won our first game. GO BUCKS!
