The Vericocele surgery was on Friday June 23 and the surgeon said everything went great. They made an incision in Chris's abdomen and went down that way. The Vericocele was then burned to stop the blood flow.
We have a follow up appointment on August 4. At this appointment we should find out when the doctor wants to do a follow up semen analysis. This statement is giving us hope:
"Many studies have shown that varicocele repair can improve semen analysis significantly, but there is no guarantee that any individual patient will experience a significant improvement. Pregnancy rates in infertile couples improve after varicocele repair by about 30-50%."
