Workout: Jillian Michals 30 Day Shred


I'm officially bored with my Biggest Loser DVD's! I decided it's time to mix it up. This weekend, I went and bought Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. I'm on day 1, level 1 and love it. It's so nice to have different workouts to do.

In the past, I have responded very well to circuit training and that's just what Jillian has you doing. Jillian takes you through 3 minutes of Cardio, 2 minutes of Strength Training and 1 minute of abs. This video is non-stop and kept my heart rate between 160 and 180. I'm hoping that this video with the other one I bought (I'll let you know once I try it), will be just what I need to drop some more pounds.

OMG! That DVD kills me everytime I do it. I know if I stuck with it I would see more results and not be as sore, but its a great workout. I tried level 2 and had to go back to level 1. I didnt even attempt level 3.

Shawna, I did level 2 last night and it is tough. I was doing the modified version of everything though. I can't do the same video over and over again I get some bored so my plan is to do level 1, 2 and 3 just the low level version. I hope I see more results!

I just got that through Netflix to see if I wanted to buy it. Did Level 1 tonight! It seems great for getting a good workout in a short period of time.
